Refund policy

1. Vintage Condition

Every item at Chevallier Curated is vintage, pre-owned or individually described in its product listing. Please review all photographs, condition notes and disclosed imperfections carefully before placing your order.

Vintage items may show signs of age and previous wear. Any known imperfections will be described as accurately as possible.

2. Right of Withdrawal

Customers in the European Union and other jurisdictions where a statutory right of withdrawal applies may cancel eligible purchases within the applicable legal withdrawal period.

For EU consumers, this period is generally 14 days from the day the customer, or a person designated by the customer, receives the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please email chevallier.curated@gmail.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw from your purchase.

3. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for the direct costs of returning an item when exercising their right of withdrawal, provided they were informed of this before purchasing.

4. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

We carefully inspect our vintage pieces before shipping. However, if your item arrives damaged, broken, or materially different from its description, please contact us at chevallier.curated@gmail.com within 2 days of receiving your order.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the item and any damage, if possible. This helps us assess the situation and assist you with the return or another appropriate solution.

We will work with you to resolve the issue.

5. Refunds

Once the return is confirmed with our team the item must be returned within 5 days. We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. Refunds will be processed within the applicable statutory deadlines and using the original payment method.

6. Condition of Returned Items

Please handle returned items with reasonable care. Where permitted by law, you may be responsible for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

This provision does not restrict any mandatory statutory rights.

7. International Orders

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and carrier handling fees. The buyer is responsible for any applicable charges.

Final Sale Policy

All vintage and sale purchases are considered final. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns or offer exchanges on these items. We encourage you to review each product description thoroughly and carefully consider your purchase before placing your order.
